You are a skilled developer, comfortable with both Front-End and Back-End coding languages, experienced with development frameworks and third-party libraries, and have a particular knack for producing scalable software. Moreover, your experience during the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment has no match.

That’s why you are so interested in working for mainly US-based clients, tackling challenging programming puzzles, and a Best Place to Code company where learning and growing are part of our daily routines sounds precise what you have been waiting for. Also, Agile methodologies are second nature for you, which is why this position seems designed just for you. Take a look!

What you have:

You have excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, are a team-oriented person always open to collaborate, and you have the skill to communicate effectively with all members of the team, including the client. You are open to do research and learning new technologies, frameworks, and tools, and you can describe yourself as proactive, self-directed, and motivated. Also, your analytical and problem-solving skills are very sharp. Does this sound like you? Great! On a more technical side, you also have…

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience and proficiency in Typescript and JavaScript with NodeJS.
  • Demonstrated experience with React.
  • Demonstrated experience with Docker.
  • Experience with MongoDB or other relational databases.
  • Lots of experience writing good clean code.
  • And the ability to work collaboratively in a small, tight team, but also able to work independently and get things done fast with consistently high quality.
  • Also, if you have general experience with AWS, that’s a giant plus.

Does this sound like you? Great! We are already interested in meeting you. And feel free to share anything else we might find exciting. We value knowledge and experience in all of our collaborators; that’s how we build the best development teams you will ever collaborate with!

The journey:

We know your time is valuable, so know the whole process will take about 2 weeks. There will be 4 interviews total (an initial one with Human Capital, a technical skill one, one with an Account Manager, and probably one with the client at the end), possibly with a technical test, if necessary.

We will keep you regularly updated about your application, but you can also get in touch with us to ask about its status or anything else you might want to know. Just have fun! If you are a good match for Scio, we will give you a formal job offer and ask you to get the pre-hiring requirements to us within 5 days at most, so preparedness is key.
