Your expertise in building fully-fledged platforms using a range of different technologies is unrivaled, and you like to be involved in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new applications. You pride yourself on your clean and functional code on the front- and back-end, and you like to collaborate closely with your teammates to ensure consistency and to create a great user experience.

You are also looking to collaborate with US-based clients at a Best Place to Code company like Scio, which values growth and collaboration above everything else. Is this you? Because if so, then we have the perfect position just for you.

What you have

You are a bilingual developer who masters both English and Spanish, values learning and teaching others new skills and techniques, and looks for a place to grow, develop and collaborate in challenging programming puzzles. Moreover, on the technical side, you also have…

  • Extensive experience in one or more modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Extensive experience with JavaScript outside of modern frameworks like vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, node, or other applications of JavaScript.
  • In-depth knowledge of JavaScript as a language apart from its relationship to the DOM.
  • Experience with jQuery.
  • Extensive experience using the node package manager ecosystem.
  • Mastery of HTML and CSS.
  • Experience using CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.

You also have knowledge of marketing performance concerns and topics like critical rendering path, lazy loading, render blocking scripts, bundle optimization, browser caching, and above-the-fold optimization. And you can also offer…

  • Experience with PHP or at least one server-side scripting language.
  • Experience with WordPress is a nice bonus.

And please, let us know anything else we might find interesting about you! At Scio we value experience and knowledge in every collaborator, that’s how we build the best development teams possible.

The journey

We know your time is valuable, so the whole process will take about 2 weeks. There will be 4 interviews total (an initial one with Human Capital, a technical skill one, one with an Account Manager, and probably one with the client at the end), possibly with a technical test, if necessary.

We will keep you regularly updated about your application, but you can also get in touch with us to ask about its status or anything else you might want to know. Just have fun! If you are a good match for Scio, we will give you a formal job offer and ask you to get the pre-hiring requirements to us within 5 days at most, so preparedness is key.

Does this seem like a position designed just for you? We’ll love to check your resume. Please send it in English to humancapital@sciodev.com and we’ll get back ASAP. Thanks for reading!
