You are an expert applying interactive and visual design principles on websites, web applications, and software to create a positive and cohesive user experience, and you enjoy collaborating with the Front and Back-End developers to approach the server-side application integration and logic.

You are also ready for the challenges of working with US-based clients in a remote work environment like the one we have at Scio, a Best Place to Code company with talent hailing from all over Latin America. If so, please keep reading!

WHAT YOU HAVE:

You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, with a demonstrated knowledge of developing web applications, eager to join a team with remote-based collaborators. Great!

And tons of plusses if on the more technical side you have…

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/CSS/HTML, including accessibility, layouting techniques, specificity, and techniques for cross browser compatibility.
  • Able to think independently to resolve complex system issues.
  • Experience developing using Java.
  • Experience developing web-based SAAS solutions.
  • Experience with React Native, Expo, and mobile app publishing and development.
  • Experience with third-party integrations (web services and SSOs).
  • Exposure to open-source technologies like Docker, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot and ElasticSearch.
  • Experience with ES6 and the concepts surrounding the React ecosystem, as well as the related tools.
  • Experience with Post CSS, Webpack, Gulp, Node.js, React Router, Redux, Redux Form and SQL.
  • Experience with Web accessibility and related concepts.
  • And knowledge of the healthcare domain.

…and we are very interested in meeting you! Also, feel free to tell us about any other relevant experience you might have, we value the knowledge of every collaborator at Scio.

THE JOURNEY:

We know your time is valuable, so we want to let you know the whole process will take about 2 weeks. There will be 4 interviews total (an initial one with Human Capital, a technical skill one, one with an Account Manager, and probably one with the client at the end), possibly with a technical test, if necessary.

We will keep you regularly updated about your application, but you can also get in touch with us to ask about its status or anything else you might want to know. Just have fun!

If you are a good match for Scio, we will give you a formal job offer and ask you to get the pre-hiring requirements to us within 5 days at most, so preparedness is key.

Does this seem like a position designed just for you? We’ll love to check your resume. Please send it in English to humancapital@sciodev.com and we’ll get back ASAP. Thanks for reading!
