
You will be the core developer on a dedicated Scio team modernizing a SharePoint platform for a financial services client. Working directly from established architecture and UX frameworks, you will build modern department sites, configure metadata and permissions, execute content migrations, and ensure a seamless handoff.
What you will do
- Build modern department sites following established architecture and design standards
- Configure metadata, taxonomy, permissions, and search optimization
- Execute content migration from the legacy platform to the modernized environment
- Build reusable site components, department templates, and modern layouts
- Deliver iteratively within two-week Agile sprints, collaborating with the Architect and UX Designer
What you bring
- 5+ years of professional SharePoint development and configuration experience
- Hands-on expertise with content migration, permission mapping, taxonomy, and search optimization
- Skill in building reusable site components, department templates, and modern layouts
- Strong background in web technologies and troubleshooting complex implementation issues
- Experience delivering iteratively within Agile sprint cycles
Nice to have
- SPFx (SharePoint Framework) development experience
- JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency
- Power Automate/Power Apps experience
- REST API/Microsoft Graph integration
- Financial services industry background
